the technical operational and functional management of the Scheldt Radar Network and its systems is carried out by the joint Management and Operating Team.

The technical management of all radar, VHF and ICT systems of this network:

• Carrying out maintenance and system and network management in order to ensure a high availability
• To care for an optimal functional and quality control of the Scheldt Radar Network, which serves the need of the users and takes into account national and international agreed rules, regulations and guidelines.
• The planning, co-ordination and realization of migration projects in relation to joint systems in order to keep the network technologically up-to-date.
• The adjustment and expansion of the Network as a result of new policy initiatives and/or changing functional and operational requirements.
